About Me

I am a personal injury attorney with over forty-five years of experience representing clients in Washington State. I started my practice in Seattle, but I moved my practice to Lynnwood, Washington when my law partner and long-time legal assistant both retired. I plan to continue serving my clients for many more years, providing them with the advocacy and support they need to receive the compensation they deserve.

Most of my cases have been in western Washington, but I have represented people throughout the state; actually trying cases in ten different counties in Washington and one in Oregon.

My legal career has been defined by my commitment to my clients and my deep understanding of the personal injury, legal system. It has also given me a unique perspective that enables me to present cases in a way that optimizes the chances of a favorable outcome for my clients. That is because in the past I represented defendants in personal injury cases, as well as injured people. I now only represent injured people, but my skills are enhanced by the many years of learning both what information insurance companies need to justify making significant payments to injured people, and also how and when to best leverage them into doing so. Those years of experience included dealing with many different medical issues on both the plaintiff and defense sides. This also enables me to identify and prove the injuries that my clients have sustained, both short and long term, obvious and not so obvious.

My practice is focused on helping individuals who have been injured due to the negligence of others, including cases involving car, truck, and premises accidents, as well as those involving dog bites and some very selective medical malpractice.

I approach each case with empathy and compassion, recognizing the physical, emotional, and financial toll that injuries and the legal process can take on individuals and their families. My clients are not just "cases" to me. I strive to provide personal attention that helps each client get through this process as well and as calmly as possible. I am committed to providing my clients with the best possible representation and to helping them navigate the legal system with confidence.

I am widely recognized for my legal expertise and ethical conduct, and I have been a respected member of the legal community in Washington State for many years. I understand that my client's goal is not only to achieve the optimum monetary settlement, but to reach that goal while avoiding as much strife as is reasonably possible. To accomplish that I work with our adversaries, the insurers and the defense lawyers, and neutrals, such as judges, arbitrators and mediators, in a straightforward professional and congenial but firm manner.

Whether you are located in Lynnwood, Everett, Edmonds, Bothell, Mukilteo, Whidbey Island, Shoreline, or beyond I am here to help you with your personal injury case. If you have been injured and are in need of legal representation, please contact me, either by phone or email. I look forward to speaking with you and learning more about how I can help you.
